About the Role

We are seeking two dedicated Service Advisors to join our team at Ford and Mazda Germiston. In this customer-focused role, you will act as the key liaison between our clients and the service department, ensuring that each customer's experience is positive and efficient. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional service and support to our customers, addressing their needs and concerns while managing their service appointments effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking service or repairs for their Ford and Mazda vehicles.
• Assess customer service needs and provide accurate information about service options and repair timelines.
• Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow to ensure timely completion of repairs.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding the status of their vehicles, explaining repairs and services in an understandable manner.
• Conduct follow-ups with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Collaborate with technicians to facilitate effective communication regarding service needs and any additional repairs required.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service orders, and follow-up activities in the dealership's management system.
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of our product offerings and services to provide informed recommendations to customers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a service advisor, customer service, or related role within the automotive industry.
• Strong aptitude for building and maintaining relationships with customers to create a positive service experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information simply.
• Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in the use of dealership management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification or training in automotive service advising or customer service.
• Experience working with Ford and Mazda vehicles or a similar automotive brand.
• Bilingual skills would be an advantage in serving a diverse customer base.
• Previous experience in a dealership environment is a plus.
