Curro seeks to appoint a Head of Sports (full-time) at Creston College in Port Shepstone to commence duties in September 2026

Key performance areas

• Lead and manage the whole-school sports programme across all phases.
• Coordinate all sporting codes, fixtures, festivals and tournaments.
• Support, mentor and manage coaches and sports staff.
• Promote learner participation, sporting excellence and sportsmanship.
• Manage sports equipment, facilities and budgets.
• Build positive relationships with parents, schools and sporting bodies.
• Uphold and promote the values and ethos of Creston College through sport.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• Appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
• Current SACE registration (essential).
• Proven experience in coaching, sports management and/or sports administration within a school environment.
• Demonstrated leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate a whole-school sports programme.
• Ability to manage sporting codes, fixtures, festivals and tournaments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work after hours and weekends as required for sporting commitments.
• Be in possession of a PDP or be prepared to apply for one upon appointment.
