• Bachelor's degree student studying towards Honours, Honours student studying towards a Master's degree, and or a Master's degree studying towards a PhD in any field of study, with higher education studies as an added advantage. The Candidate should be a registered student at Univen.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Tutor

Duties

• Provide holistic academic advising to students, including course selection, progression planning, and career-aligned guidance
• Advises students on their academic plans and progress, academic schedule, choice of major, and other academic activities and career goals, to assist students in making decisions about personal educational goals leading to graduation
• Identify and support at-risk students through early alert systems, targeted interventions, and appropriate referrals
• Evaluate student performance data and advising trends to inform support strategies
• Maintain accurate advising records and generate reports on student engagement, retention, and success
• Participate in the development of learning advancement programs for the University
• Conduct research on Teaching and Learning in the HET context
• Conduct individual consultations with academic staff members
• Initiate and drive programs aimed at enhancing staff support
