Access Control Officer (Cape Town)

We are looking for a reliable and vigilant individual to join our team in a role focused on site control operations and asset protection. This position plays a key factor in safeguarding company assets and ensuring operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct searches of personnel, vehicles, and goods entering and exiting the premises in line with company procedures
• Verify and check all outgoing stock against relevant documentation (delivery notes and invoices
• Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed entry
• Perform routine checks of the warehouse and surrounding areas to identify risks, irregularities, or any breaches.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of movements, incidents, and inspections
• Assist with investigations relating to stock discrepancies, losses, or suspicious activity
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, especially when monitoring loading/offloading activities
• Report any incidents, damages, or breaches immediately to management
• Support operational teams by ensuring process compliance at dispatch and receiving points

Minimum Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
• Good communication skills and ability to handle conflict professionally
• Physically fit
• Basic understanding of stock control processes
• Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently
• May be required to work shifts, weekends, or overtime
• Will involve both indoor and outdoor duties
