Job description
The main objective of the position is to collect due amounts and maintain the debtors’ book.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring effective invoicing
- Resolve and attend to customer queries
- Ensure efficient collection of outstanding amounts
- Update cash flow spreadsheet
- Perform credit control functions effectively
- Maintain customer master details
- Apply customer payments to open invoices on account
- Accurate reporting and accounting functions
- Assist with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager
Education
- Grade 12
- Relevant qualification
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) – Intermediate to advanced level
Experience
- 3 years’ experience in debt collecting
