SUMMARY: SENIOR BOOKKEEPER

Stikland, Bellville Our client specialises in the design and manufacturing of a variety of safety, symbolic and photoluminescent signage, through large format digital printing. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their company based in Stikland.

The successful candidate will oversee the bookkeeping function for the operating company as well as several associated trusts. This role requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple entities simultaneously.

POSITION INFO: RESPONSIBILITIES: Full bookkeeping function up to trial balance Management of accounts payable and accounts receivable Bank reconciliations and cash flow management VAT calculations and submissions Payroll processing and reconciliations Monthly management accounts and reporting Maintaining accurate financial records and internal controls Liaising with external accountants and auditors Managing financial records and transactions for multiple trusts Assisting with trust administration and compliance requirements Monitoring intercompany and trust-related transactions Assisting management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting Minimum 5 years' accounting experience Proven experience using Xero Accounting Software (essential) Proven experience with trust accounting and administration (essential) Strong understanding of South African accounting principles, VAT, and statutory requirements Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience managing multiple entities and bank accounts Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and maintain strict confidentiality Experience in a manufacturing or signage environment will be advantageous TO APPLY: If you would like to apply or receive more information about this position, please: Apply online at or Click on the \"APPLY\" button We thank all candidates for their interest and advise that only those under consideration will be contacted.
