The Accountant Financial Reporting strengthens Medihelps reporting capability by delivering accurate and timely outputs across monthly, quarterly and annual cycles. The role is responsible for income statement analysis, management accounts, rolling forecasts, annual budgeting, the preparation of Annual Financial Statements, and audit and statutory CMS reporting support. The incumbent will also assume primary responsibility for the Asset and Inventory Control function, including oversight of the team and the accurate accounting and reporting of fixed assets and inventory. Working with cost centre managers, the role interprets variances, provides clear financial commentary and contributes to effective controls and standardised reporting processes.
REQUIREMENTS
BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
Completed SAICA / SAIPA articles or 35 years relevant accounting / financial reporting experience
Experience in management accounts, Annual Financial Statements, income statement analysis, budgeting and forecasting
Knowledge of IFRS, reconciliations, internal controls and statutory reporting requirement
