Accountant IV

Description Accountant IV Examples of Duties Under general supervision, performs complex or specialized accounting functions in accordance with established accounting procedures. Analyzes reports and data. Provides advice concerning accounting and financial data preparation. Performs other job-related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required. Three years of full-time paid accounting experience, one of which must be in a supervisory capacity, required. (Substitution: Two years of accounting experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may substitute for each year of college education lacking.) Individual must be computer literate and have knowledge of various computerized accounting software packages.
