Accountant

We are a growing manufacturing group in the plastics and building materials sector, supplying products nationwide. Our business is driven by strong financial controls, operational efficiency, and continued expansion.

Role Overview

We are looking for a SAIPA-qualified Financial Accountant with a minimum of 5 years’ experience to take ownership of the accounting function and support management with accurate, timely financial information.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone comfortable operating in a high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Full accounting function up to trial balance and management accounts
• Preparation and review of monthly management reports
• Oversight of debtors and creditors, including ageing and reconciliations
• Cashbook processing and bank reconciliations
• VAT, PAYE, and statutory submissions
• Inventory, costing, and stock control support
• Assisting with year-end audit and financial statements
• Maintaining and improving internal controls and processes

Minimum Requirements

• SAIPA qualification (required)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of South African tax and compliance requirements
• Experience with accounting systems (Palladium advantageous)
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
