Job description
Accountant
Tafelberg Furnishers group is currently seeking to employ an experienced Accountant at their Head Office in Bellville.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the full Accountant function.
- Creditor’s Recon and payments
- Management Report’s / Branch Accounting
- Bank Payments (FNB)
- VAT Returns
- VAT Recons
- Customer credit and refunds
- Calculating monthly agent commission
- Calculating monthly sales commissions and spivs
- Daily and weekly figure reports
- Monthly inter group recoveries (rent/advertising/deliveries)
- Maintain FAR
- Prepare audit files
- Prepare annual budget
- Costing of imported stock
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in finance / accounting
- Minimum of 2 years’ post qualification experience
- Sage Evolution proficient
- Advanced Excel
Education:
- Diploma (Required)
Experience:
- Finance/Accounting: 2 years (Required)
