We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in South Africa. As a Lead Accountant, you will play a crucial role in setting up & managing Accounts for Excellent SA covering general accounting, bookkeeping, tax, expenses, payroll & audit.

Responsibilities:

• Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
• Prepare tax documents
• Compile and analyze financial statements
• Manage budgeting and forecasting for SA entity
• General book keeping
• Opportunity to work on Regional / Global expansion projects / initiatives
• Africa experience will be an advantage
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Chartered Accounting status or nearly qualified
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong stakeholder relationship management
• Previous experience with accounting for Securities Trading, Investments, Asset management or Financial Services is preferred
