Job description
Duties & Responsibilities
Creditors
-
Working with extreme high volumes of payments for accounts payable
-
Invoicing, statements, approvals and reconciliations of creditors
-
Basic financial principles and legislation governing accounts payable
-
Understanding the working of budgets and forecast
-
Digital and physical filing and organising of documentation
Operating expenses
- Assist with capturing travel claims, credit card transactions and cash claims
Ad hoc
- Ad hoc requests from Finance team.
Other
-
Knowledge of working with banking platforms
-
Any other reasonable request.
Minimum Requirements
Educational
- Accounting Diploma or equivalent
Knowledge and experience
-
Highly recommended: At least three years’ experience in a similar role
-
Strong accounting and bookkeeping knowledge and exposure
-
Basic understanding of indirect tax legislation
-
Good knowledge of systems and financial controls (policies and processes)
