Job description
At WCBS, we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive our service forward. Our Accounts Receivable Department keeps that system running smoothly by monitoring and managing billing’s and collecting payment from clients. We’re searching for a skilled “Accounts Receivable Controller” to join our accounts receivable team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
Purpose of the job:
- To maintain an accurate and timeous debtor’s book by doing effective credit control.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric Certificate.
- Accounting Certificate or Credit Management.
- Computer literate.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in an accounting environment.
A combination of the following skills, knowledge and attributes is required:
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize work.
- Detail oriented, ability to show initiative and take responsibility.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
As part of the recruitment and selection process, you may be required to complete a psychometric assessment.
