Job description
CapeNature is seeking to appoint an administration assistant to manage the administrative tasks within the Contact Centre.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative assistance to the Contact Centre.
RESPONSIBILITIES
KPA 1 - Administrative support
- Ensure all events, official use and third-party requests have been responded to timeously and that the request has been received within the stipulated timeframe prior arrival date as per the SOP.
- Administer and ensure thorough processing of staff booking
- Administer & follow up on deposits due to ensure payments are received with in the stipulated
- To ensure that closures are affected timeously, all bookings have been removed, clients have been contacted and reserves have been informed of bookings/revenue affected as per the closures SOP.
KPA 2 - Adherence to internal policy and procedure
- Adhere to CRS Business rules
- Ensure compliance and implementation of CapeNature Terms and
- Compliance to PMFA and internal finance policy and procedure Adherence to daily schedule and work
KPA 3 - Contact Centre Support
- Provide reports to Contact Centre Lead/Manager to ensure quality standards are
KPA 4 - Customer Service
- Attend to all (internal and external) customer enquiries and
KPA 5 – Sales Growth and revenue
- Respond to all customer enquiries and requests and convert them to realised
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma in Tourism or Administration
- No criminal record
- Ability to write and communicate in any two of the Western Cape official languages
- In possession of a valid ID document
RECOMMENDATIONS
- Computer literacy in MS Word and Excel
- Possession of a valid driver’s licence
- 2 Years experience in an administrative role
- Basic tourism knowledge
COMPETENCIES
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Punctual, neat, and responsible
- Willingness to travel when required
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Resourceful, problem-solving and initiative taking
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
