Automation Control Solutions is a market leader in Southern Africa in the field of Process Control Instrumentation providing world-renowned products, specialised training, after sales service and technical support. Automation Control Solutions represents Emerson Automation Solutions, in Southern and Eastern Africa.
To ensure a workplace runs smoothly by managing day-to-day clerical work, handling correspondence, and maintaining organized premises and records.
Minimum Requirements
ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12
- Certificate or diploma in Office Administration (advantageous)
EXPERIENCE:
(Minimal experience requirements, Any Experience in the fields below a bonus)
- 1–3 years’ experience in an administrative or clerical role and; or
- 1–3 years’ experience in a Sales Assistant/ Administrative role
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong data capturing and typing skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of office procedures
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Time management and organizational skills

Duties and Responsibilities
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, scanning, photocopying, document management, gathering quotes and raising purchase requests
- Capture and update data accurately in company systems
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence (phone calls, emails, messages, and documents) professionally
- Maintain organised filing systems (physical and electronic)
- Assist with basic reporting and document preparation and quoting
- Support team members with administrative tasks as required
- Managing inventory (stationary, office supplies, dispatching & receiving etc.)
- Responsible for Housekeeping (building, landlord & staff)
- CRM Reporting and customer database updates
