Administrative Assistant – Client Experience & Venue Operations
Onder Engele Venue (Pty) Ltd | Brits, North West
R6,000 per month | Tuesday–Friday | 9:00am–4:00pm | Part-time | On-site | 3-month probation

Onder Engele Venue is a boutique wedding estate offering beautiful gardens, an elegant venue, in-house catering and floral design, warm hospitality and exceptional wedding experiences.
We are looking for an organised, warm and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Client Experience and Venue Operations teams.
You will help couples feel welcomed, informed and cared for — from their first enquiry and venue viewing through to their wedding day.
Previous wedding-industry experience is not required.
We value professionalism, willingness to learn, initiative and a genuine interest in creating exceptional client experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who is warm, polished, organised and genuinely passionate about people and weddings.
You will be one of the first people a couple or potential bride interacts with at Onder Engele, so the way you communicate, present yourself and follow through on details matters.

You should enjoy making people feel comfortable and looked after while ensuring that the behind-the-scenes details are handled accurately.
Previous wedding experience is not required. The right attitude, potential and client-service mindset are more important.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop towards a Client Experience Assistant and potentially Client Experience Coordinator role as they demonstrate capability and take on greater responsibility.
What you’ll be responsible for
Client Experience
- Manage wedding enquiries and maintain accurate client records
- Respond to clients warmly, professionally and promptly
- Update and maintain information in our CRM system
- Maintain wedding files, contracts and payment records
- Prepare client documents, checklists and information packs
- Schedule venue viewings and welcome prospective clients
- Record venue-viewing outcomes and follow up where required
- Follow up on outstanding information and documentation
- Ensure important client and wedding details are accurately communicated and not overlooked
Administration & Venue Operations
- Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems
- Assist with calendars, planning, spreadsheets and administrative documents
- Support the Wedding Coordinator and management team
- Assist with wedding and venue administration
- Help ensure upcoming weddings remain organised and on track
- Assist with day-to-day client and operational communication
- Contribute ideas that improve administrative systems and processes
Requirements
Essential
- Matric certificate
- Good computer literacy
- Comfortable using email, WhatsApp, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and spreadsheets
- Good written and verbal communication and typing skills
- Professional, warm and client-focused manner
- Reliable transport to and from the venue
- Ability to work independently after training
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Advantageous — but not essential
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
