Administrative Controller: Learning & Development

Job Advert Summary

Plan and coordinate the learning and development administration and logistical functions relating to the clocking system.

It is essential for applicants to be computer literate and have knowledge about running diffrent learning programs including artisan programs.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent NQF4
• Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level
• Business English: Fluent
• Computer literacy (Intermediate)

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate logistics related to the provision of learning and development

• Arrange and prepare venues for training and communicate with delegates prior and during programmes
• Prepare learning material
• Liaise with service providers to determine needs and requirements
• Handle travel, flight and accommodation arrangements
• Create purchase orders and arrange for payments (service providers)
• Handle documents and payments for employed and unemployed bursars
• Assist with Best Company to Work For survey

Perform administrative tasks

• Understand and administrate the Learning Management System (LMS) and the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Maintain the calendar/schedule for learning and development and diary of L & D team
• Handle L&D queries
• Liaise with service provider, prepare documentation for registration as vendors
• Handle office management requirements (Stationary, functions, office equipment, etc.)
• Create internal certificates and distribute

Maintain records and reports

• Update the LMS and QMS
• Keep record of all payments
• Prepare L&D reports and presentations
