Job description
Job Purpose
The Western Cape Provincial Treasury, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual To assist in the coordination of departmental operational service delivery obligations as requiredby the Corporate Services Centre (CSC) service level agreement and provide an administrative support service.
Minimum Requirements
A 3-year National Diploma/B-degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 1 year relevant experience.

Key Performance Areas
Assist with the coordination of appointment ofmembers of prescribed departmental committees,nomination of statutory appointments andNomination of departmental representative to transversal forums; Assist in the provision of logistical arrangements forprescribed departmental committees; Distribute general CSC communications /information as required and keep record of incoming and outgoing CSC correspondence; Assist in the collation of consolidateddepartmental inputs / reports to the CSC as required; Coordinate and render the following: Departmental training and development matters and render administrative support to line managers; Administrative support with service benefits within the department;Administrative support with the recruitment and selection processes within the department; Administrative support with the application and implementation of Staff Performance Management Systems applicable to all levels (PERMIS);Database management.

Knowledge of and working experience with the following: Interpret and implement legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices relevant to the line functions; use information systems that support the management of knowledge and information relating to the line function; manage operational activities and processes; develop, implement, monitor and review policies and operational processes; manage modern systems of governance and administration; manage public service procedures, processes and systems; human resources and related administrative processes; support the policies of the government of the day; demonstrate job knowledge; communicate effectively; maintain effective interpersonal relationships; demonstrate flexibility; work effectively as part of a team; plan and organise activities and resources; Skills: perform numeracy functions; perform literacy functions; use computer systems effectively; communicate effectively in the required language; maintain accurate records; Planning and Organising;

Remuneration
R 338 106 - R 398 277 per annum (Salary level 7)
Note on remuneration in addition service benefits or obligations for qualifying employees (medical assistance, housing assistance, pension-fund contributions, etc) are funded or co-funded in terms of the applicable prescripts or collective agreements.
