Join a Leading Electronic Security Company
Iron Curtain Security Solutions is a well-established and rapidly growing electronic security company based in Plumstead, Cape Town. We specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of CCTV surveillance systems, access control, alarm systems, networking, and AI-powered off-site monitoring solutions.
We are seeking a professional, organised, and energetic Administrator / Receptionist to become the face of our company and an integral part of our operations team.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day administration of the business while coordinating our technical teams and supporting operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-line reception and customer service
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
- Responding to customer enquiries
- Preparing customer invoices using Sage Accounting
- Purchasing and procuring stock for installations and service work
- Scheduling installations and service calls
- Dispatching technicians each morning and coordinating daily work schedules
- Liaising with suppliers and customers
- General office administration and filing
Minimum Requirements
- Previous administration experience
- Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional telephone manner
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Advantageous Experience
Preference will be given to applicants who have experience in:
- Sage Accounting
- The electronic security industry (CCTV, alarms, access control, electric fencing, etc.), or
- A similar technical service or operations environment involving scheduling, procurement, and technician coordination.
Location
Applicants should preferably reside within a 15 km radius of our Plumstead offices.
Remuneration
- Salary: R19,000 per month
- Permanent, full-time position
- Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 16:00
Pay: R15 000,00 - R19 000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
