Admissions & Marketing Administrator

Position Title: Admissions & Marketing Administrator

Blouberg International School is seeking an energetic, highly organized, and results-driven Admissions & Marketing Administrator to manage the end-to-end student enrollment pipeline and drive external marketing efforts.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary brand ambassador for the school, engaging prospective families from initial inquiry through onboarding, while actively promoting the school’s academic standards, vibrant community, and values. This role requires a balance of professional empathy, administrative rigor, personal accountability, and a growth mindset.

Core Responsibilities1. Admissions & Enrolment Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for prospective parents. Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins with warmth, clarity, and professionalism.
  • Plan, schedule, and lead compelling campus tours for prospective families. Manage the full application, assessment, and enrollment process.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date applicant records on the school management system. Monitor admissions funnel metrics and present regular enrollment reports to leadership.
  • Coordinate with academic heads and administration to ensure smooth orientation and integration for new students and their families.

2. Marketing, Public Relations & Brand Management

  • Manage the school’s official social media platforms, creating engaging, high-quality content that highlights student achievements, school events, and academic life.
  • Draft newsletters, press releases, prospectus updates, and promotional materials in alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Lead the planning and execution of key school marketing events, including Open Days, orientation sessions, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Monitor local educational market trends, analyze competitor strategies, and propose innovative campaigns to enhance school visibility.

3. General Administration & Communication

  • Work closely with the leadership team, finance, and teaching staff to align marketing messaging with operational reality.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding applicant and student records in accordance with relevant data protection laws (e.g., POPIA).
  • Prepare ad-hoc administrative and marketing performance reports as requested by executive leadership.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Percentage of prospective leads successfully converted into registered students. (70%)
  • Inquiries acknowledged and processed within 24–36 hours.(10%)
  • Quantitative growth and positive sentiment across social media platforms and digital channels. (10%)
  • High parent satisfaction ratings regarding the initial inquiry and admissions experience. (10%)

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in admissions, customer relations, or marketing (experience within an international or private educational environment is strongly preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, social media management tools, CRM databases, and school management systems (e.g., MailChimp, CEMIS, ISAMS).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R400 000,00 - R430 000,00 per year
