Curro seeks to appoint Admissions Officer (full-time) at Grantleigh in Mbonambi to commence duties in January 2027

Key performance areas

• Receive applications across various platforms, validate documentation, and submit to finance for credit checks.
• Contact parents regarding application packs, load applications onto the system, assign subjects and classes, and liaise with educators for placements.
• Act as the key contact for application queries, advising parents on subjects, grades, age requirements, payment processes, and school policies.
• Create and maintain learner profiles, update data on SA SAMS and Synergy, and submit quarterly learner statistics.
• Manage school leavers, prepare transfer cards, and track statistics for space availability.
• Provide personal assistant support to the Head of High School, including diary management, meeting arrangements, minute-taking, health and safety administration, and banking of monies received.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• Minimum qualification: Grade 12.
• Experience: At least 1 year as an Administrative Clerk (preferably in an educational environment).
• Skills: Knowledge of admissions/legal elements, educational systems, subject knowledge, financial processes, Microsoft Office, and proficiency in English and Afrikaans.
• Attributes: Planning and organisation, attention to detail, strong communication, confidentiality, integrity, and emotional maturity.
