About the Role
The role involves performing technical diagnostics on machine breakdowns, delivering detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while providing excellent service to customers.
Responsibilities
- Carry out technical diagnostics on machine breakdown with the electrician’s tools: computer, measurement tools, documentation.
- Deliver detailed technical reports and failure analyses.
- Carry out quick and long-term repair (repair to restart machines in emergency // repair to put machine back to standard).
- Identify assembly/commissioning problems, investigate causes, and establish priorities for resolution.
- Troubleshoot and repair Liugong equipment on customer sites and in workshops.
- Ensure all repairs follow Liugong procedures and standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including the use of PPE equipment.
- Oversee warranty claims, establish root causes of failures, and ensure repairs are correctly executed.
- Work closely with service management, product support teams, and customers to ensure service excellence.
- Provide technical product support to dealer personnel, subsidiary service groups, marketing units, design engineers, technical information division, test and evaluation, etc.
- Support marketing units with technical guidance for managing customer problems with product deficiencies.
- Conduct dealer and customer visits to personally provide technical assistance on urgent field problems and for follow-up purposes.
Qualifications
- Education Requirement: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Technology, or a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in equipment field
- Qualification Requirement: NVQ Level 3 or above
- Professional Skills: Excellent troubleshooting ability for machine systems (open-pit and underground mining equipment)
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and report writing ability
- Professional Quality: Strictly abide by safety regulations and company policies
- Work Ability: Capable of performing repetitive operations
