AI Developer – Remote****Position Type: Full-Time, Remote

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM U.S. Mountain Time

About the Role At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring an AI Developer to help build the next generation of AI-powered solutions as they transition into a native-AI agency.

This is a hands-on role focused on designing, building, and maintaining AI agents using modern AI development tools and automation frameworks. You’ll own projects from scoping through deployment, working closely with leadership to build scalable, production-ready AI systems.

*Key Responsibilities**AI Agent Development Design, build, and maintain AI agents that power the company’s transition to a native-AI agency.

  • Own the full development lifecycle from scoping through deployment.
  • Monitor agent performance, identify failures, and continuously improve AI capabilities.

Tooling & Orchestration* Build reliable AI workflows using Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and Inngest.

  • Develop scalable automation pipelines and event-driven workflows.

Backend & Data Layer* Develop and manage solutions using Supabase.

  • Build and maintain database schemas, authentication, and real-time functionality to support AI agents.

Technical Ownership* Take full ownership of AI architecture, tooling decisions, and production quality.

  • Work independently while making technical decisions with minimal oversight.

Required Experience & Skills* At least 1 year of professional experience building AI agents or AI-powered applications.

  • Experience with Claude Code and/or OpenAI Codex for AI development and code generation.
  • Working knowledge of Inngest for event-driven orchestration and background jobs.
  • Hands-on experience with Supabase, including database design, authentication, and real-time features.
  • Comfortable working independently as the primary AI developer.
  • Availability to work U.S. Mountain Time (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

What a Typical Day Looks Like* Review AI agent logs and resolve production issues.

  • Build new AI agents and extend Inngest workflows.
  • Develop and maintain Supabase databases and integrations.
  • Participate in standups or async team updates.
  • Document completed work and communicate technical decisions.
  • Own projects from design through deployment without handoffs.
