Alarm / Guarding Controller

We are looking for someone who has worked inside an actual security/emergency control room.

To apply you need to meet the following requirements:

PSIRA Grace C – Currently Registered (Ensure your Certificate is attached as PDF)

We cannot interview unless PSIRA registered and Valid.

• Fluent in English (Able to Read, Speak and Write at First Language level - You will be speaking to clients and ALL work is done in English on computer.)
• Experience working in a control room or call centre (Minimum 2 years).

Actual experience using a computer to fulfil daily duties and compile reports.

Preference given to experience using applications(software) that deals with alarms, client management systems and OB's.

You need to state what software programs you used fulfilling work functions in prior posts.

• Alarm Monitoring Experience (Minimum 2 year) – Preferred but not essential.
• Guard dispatch Experience (Minimum 1 year) – Preferred but not essential.

Able to work shifts (Monday to Sunday. Day and Night Shifts included)
Must be a South African Citizen with a valid ID document. [Attached in your application]
Experience in MS Word, Outlook and intermediate PC literacy and typing skills.

Computer use and call taking will be evaluated during the interview process.
