All Rounder Guesthouse Worker

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a versatile, friendly, and energetic All-Rounder to join our guesthouse team. You will handle everything from guest check-ins, to serving the guests dinner, to preparing the breakfast for the guests in the mornings and to working in maintenance and doing garden work as well. This role is perfect for a proactive problem-solver who loves interacting with people and keeping spaces immaculate.

Please note that we are looking for a MALE for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

· Front Office: Welcome guests, assist with check-ins/check-outs, take payments, answer the phone and assist with reservations.

· Food & Beverage: Assist with preparation and setup of breakfast, serving guests dinner at night, serve drinks at the bar and kitchen clean-up.

· Maintenance/ gardening: Monitor property grounds, fix maintenance issues in the rooms and around the property, clean the grounds, cut the grass, clean the pool etc.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, or customer service preferred.
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Strong multitasking skills and a hands-on work ethic.
• Friendly, professional demeanour with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• You will need to be able to work night shifts on a weekend
• Must have a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include executing general guesthouse errands and safely transporting guests in a Toyota 14-seater vehicle.
• Must be a non-smoker

Salary:

Basic salary: R10 400 per month

Additional pay: Weekends and overtime
