We are seeking a dedicated Annotation Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and enhancement of advanced natural language processing models. As an Annotator, you will be responsible for creating high-quality annotated datasets that will be used to train and improve generative AI models. Your meticulous attention to detail and linguistic expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our models.

this is an Onsite (Work from office) position and not Hybrid or remote)

Key job responsibilities

Annotation Creation: Develop annotated datasets by carefully annotating and labeling diverse text samples.

Domain Expertise: Gain proficiency in understanding and annotating texts across various experiences, organizations and more, to support the creation of specialized models.

Demonstrates clear and polite written and oral communication.

Maintains a positive and professional demeanor and portrays the company in a positive light.

Demonstrates knowledge and correct use of departmental resources, policies and procedures.

Meets or exceeds quality and productivity goals assigned by management.

A day in the life

You will provide labels and annotation for various projects across our organizations, some projects will last longer than others, but expect a variation of different label and annotation requests month to month.

About the team

Our team is passionate about human motivation and behavior and uses machine learning, classification algorithms and scalable platform services to have a cross-org impact every day. We evaluate user research, customer experience knowledge, data, and cross-Amazon Moderation expertise to ensure other teams think about customer trust.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of packages including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in English
  • Fluent in German or Italian or Spanish or Portuguese or Japanese

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience multitasking, including answering multiple phone lines, prioritize e-mail, instant message, and ticket related communication, and communicate clearly within a command center environment
  • Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
  • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality.
  • Fluency is additional language linguistics is an advantage
