AP Plant Maintenance (PM)

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced SAP Logistics Specialist – Plant Maintenance (PM) to provide functional consulting expertise across SAP Plant Maintenance and logistics processes. The successful candidate will have strong SAP PM functional experience, proven involvement in SAP S/4HANA implementations and migrations, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

▪ 5–10 years' SAP Functional Consulting experience.

▪ Strong functional experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).

▪ Minimum 2 full SAP S/4HANA implementations and/or migrations.

▪ Proven experience working through the full SAP project lifecycle.

▪ Strong experience in SAP PM configuration and functional solution design.

▪ Experience gathering and analysing business requirements.

▪ Experience with SAP PM integration with other SAP modules.

▪ Experience in testing, UAT, cutover and go-live activities.

▪ Strong stakeholder engagement and consulting skills.

▪ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Provide functional consulting expertise across the SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module.

▪ Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP PM solutions.

▪ Configure and optimise SAP PM processes in line with business requirements.

▪ Support end-to-end SAP implementation and migration projects.

▪ Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementations and migrations, including fit-gap analysis and solution design.

▪ Configure and support plant maintenance master data and processes.

▪ Work with maintenance notifications, maintenance orders and work orders.

▪ Support equipment, functional location and maintenance plan processes.

▪ Configure preventive and corrective maintenance processes.

▪ Support breakdown maintenance and planned maintenance processes.

▪ Configure maintenance strategies, task lists and maintenance plans.

▪ Integrate SAP PM with relevant modules, including MM, FI/CO, PS and Production Planning, where applicable.

▪ Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to understand processes and requirements.

▪ Prepare functional specifications and solution documentation where required.

▪ Support functional testing, integration testing, UAT and defect resolution.

▪ Provide user training and knowledge transfer.

▪ Support cutover, data migration, go-live and post-go-live activities.

▪ Troubleshoot functional issues and provide root-cause analysis.

▪ Work closely with technical teams, developers, Basis consultants and other SAP functional specialists.

▪ Ensure SAP solutions follow SAP best practices and organisational standards.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate will be a Senior SAP Plant Maintenance Functional Consultant with 5–10 years of SAP functional consulting experience and at least two full S/4HANA implementations or migrations. The candidate must have strong hands-on SAP PM expertise and hold the required SAP S/4HANA certification. SAP S/4HANA certification and two full S/4HANA implementation/migration projects are mandatory requirements.

Pay: From R800,00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Johannesburg, Gauteng
