We are hiring an Appointment Setter (SDR) for a US-based B2B SaaS company in the HR/Payroll (HCM) technology industry. This is a Full-Time remote role for a United States based client. The role is focused on outbound prospecting, lead sourcing, cold calling, pre-qualification, and booking sales appointments, with an initial focus on the California SMB market. The ideal candidate is a resilient, coachable self-starter with excellent English communication skills, strong organization, and a track record of hitting KPI targets in high-volume outbound environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build targeted prospect lists using Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and client-provided datasets
- Conduct high-volume cold calling, outbound emailing, and social outreach to generate interest and book meetings
- Qualify prospects against the ICP (e.g., US SMBs, 1–250 employees) and hand off appropriately to Account Executives
- Schedule and manage appointments on team calendars, ensuring clean handoffs and thorough notes
- Maintain accurate records, pipelines, and tasks in the CRM and GoHighLevel (workflows, sequences, and follow-ups)
- Execute timely follow-ups across channels to maximize show rates and conversions
- Collaborate on outreach scripts, objection handling, and value messaging; iterate based on results
- Meet or exceed daily/weekly KPIs (dials, connects, conversations, meetings booked, show rates)
- Provide concise activity and performance reporting to stakeholders
- Uphold data hygiene and compliance with outreach and calling best practices
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in outbound sales, SDR/BDR, or appointment-setting roles for B2B clients
- Proven success with high-volume cold calling and multi-channel outreach in US markets
- Excellent written and spoken English; confident, clear phone presence and objection handling
- Strong CRM discipline and pipeline management skills; data-driven and KPI-focused
- Ability to work 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Pacific Time (PST) and operate effectively in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or HR/payroll/HCM solutions
- Familiarity with the California SMB market and scheduling across US time zones
- Prior experience booking meetings for US-based Account Executives in an SMB segment

Schedule & Pay
- Full-Time position; 8:00 AM–4:00 PM Pacific Time (PST)
- Fully remote role for a United States based client
- Pay ranges from R14,000 - R18,000 ZAR per Month
- Includes structured onboarding, ongoing training, and performance-based incentives with clear growth pathways (Senior SDR, Closer, or Team Lead)
