About the Role

We are looking for a confident, proactive, and results-driven Appointment Setter to join one of our UK clients.

This role is responsible for generating qualified appointments for a busy sales and lettings team through outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and relationship building. You will be the first point of contact for many prospective clients, helping to identify opportunities and schedule appointments that contribute directly to the growth of the business.

Title: Appointment Setter (Part-Time, Remote)

Location: Remote (South Africa)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 1:30pm (UK Time)

Employment Type: Contract - Part-Time

Salary: R9,500 to R10,500 per month (before tax deductions), depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients.

Identify and engage with key decision-makers.

Follow up on enquiries, marketing campaigns, and prospect lists.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential opportunities.

Research prospective clients and identify new business opportunities.

Appointment Setting

Qualify prospects against agreed criteria.

Schedule appointments for the sales and lettings team.

Confirm appointments and ensure all details are accurately recorded.

Send follow-up communications and appointment reminders where required.

CRM & Administration

Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.

Track all prospect interactions and sales activities.

Record detailed notes from conversations.

Update lead statuses and manage follow-up tasks.

Produce basic activity and performance reports as required.

Relationship Building

Build positive relationships with prospective clients.

Represent the business professionally at all times.

Develop a strong understanding of the company's services and value proposition.

Maintain consistent communication with prospects throughout the sales process.

Experience & Skills Required

Essential - Previous experience in appointment setting, telesales, lead generation, business development, or a similar outbound sales role.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Confident and professional telephone manner.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and manage daily activity targets.

Experience using CRM systems.

Strong internet research and prospecting skills.

Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.

Desirable

Experience working with UK-based estate agencies.

Experience within property, recruitment, professional services, or outsourced support sectors.

Home Office Requirements

As this is a fully remote position, applicants must have the following equipment and working environment:

Windows 11 computer with a minimum Intel i5 processor and 16GB RAM (less than three years old).

Second monitor.

Professional noise-cancelling headset suitable for client communication.

Stable fibre internet connection with minimum upload and download speeds of 50 Mbps.

Active and up-to-date antivirus software.

UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) or alternative backup power solution.

A quiet, professional home office free from excessive background noise and interruptions.
