About the Role

As an Apprentice in Level Year 1 at Haval Kempton Park, you will embark on a structured learning journey focused on gaining practical experience in the automotive industry. This role is designed to equip you with foundational knowledge and skills required to thrive in various operational and customer service facets of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training sessions that cover vehicle maintenance, repair, and customer interaction.
• Assist qualified technicians in diagnosing vehicle issues and performing repairs under guidance.
• Learn to maintain the workshop environment, ensuring tools and equipment are organized and in good working order.
• Support team members by engaging in inventory management, including tracking parts and supplies.
• Develop customer service skills by interacting with clients and assisting in providing updates on vehicle status.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Actively engage in ongoing training sessions and workshops to enhance automotive knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and participating in team efforts.

Requirements

• A completed high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrable interest in automotive technology and a passion for developing skills in this field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective customer interaction.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a practical setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering quality work.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred but not essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service role or a technical field would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with automotive tools and equipment is a plus.
• Participation in any automotive-related courses or workshops will be considered beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems and components would be an asset.
