A well-established Mining Engineering Company based in the Carletonville/Fochville area is seeking a motivated and hardworking young male to join our team as an Apprentice Toolmaker or Fitter & Turner Trainee.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about engineering and wishes to develop a career in the manufacturing and mining engineering industry.Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) Technical subjects will be advantageous Basic understanding of engineering workshop practices Familiarity with conventional lathes, milling machines, and CNC equipment Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Willingness to learn and undergo practical training Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, disciplined, and safety-conscious Reside in or near the Carletonville/Fochville areaKey Responsibilities: Assist with machining, fitting, and manufacturing activities Learn to operate conventional and CNC machinery under supervision Assist with maintenance, repairs, and assembly of engineering components Maintain workshop housekeeping and safety standards Participate in training and skills development programmesWhat We Offer: Practical hands-on training in a mining engineering environment Career development opportunities Exposure to modern engineering and CNC machining processes Supportive and experienced mentorshipInterested candidates are invited to submit a detailed CV, certified copies of qualifications, and contactable references.
