Armed Response Officer – Atlantic Seaboard

We are seeking a professional, reliable, and experienced Armed Response Officer to join Security Response Group serving the Atlantic Seaboard area. Key Responsibilities

• Patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of clients and their property.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarm activations and emergency incidents.
• Provide support to Security Response Group team members and the local community.
• Assist emergency services and other safety and security agencies when required.
• Work alongside the South African Police Service (SAPS) as and when required.
• Perform any other duties necessary for the effective operation of the Security Response Group.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade C PSIRA Certificate (valid and current).
• Armed Response Certificate.
• Valid South African Driver's Licence.
• Clear criminal record.
• 3 years' experience as an Armed Response Officer.
• Valid firearm competency and training certificates, including:
• Knowledge of the Firearm Control Act 2000 (Unit Standard 117705)
• Handle and Use of a Handgun (Unit Standard 119649)
• Handle and Use of a Handgun for Business Purposes (Unit Standard 123515)
• Relevant SASSETA Certificate or Statement of Results
• Knowledge of the Atlantic Seaboard area (advantageous)
