Location City of Ekurhuleni Remuneration R 438 804.00 to R 601 956.00 - Basic salary per annum (plus benefits) Assignment Type Permanent Minimum Requirements:

• N5 certificate
• Tradesman Certificate in Plumbing
• 2 years' experience as an Artisan Assistant
• A valid Code B driver's license

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform plumbing maintenance work in the facilities management division on CoE facilities by applying the trade of initiate, plan, executive, monitor and control and close out work allocated such as installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes and fixtures associated with heating, cooling, water distribution, and sanitation systems in residential, office, and commercial structures
• Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close out maintenance work by implementing the correct maintenance procedures for the applicable trade and building component to ensure efficient and functional facilities management, legislative standards and environmental conditions in Council facilities
• Perform human resources and related functions to ensure fair labour practices and compliance with all relevant statutory requirements
• Adhere to occupational, health and safety procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements
• Implement instructions from the operations office to satisfy client Departments
