Purpose To maintain the overall effectiveness of equipment and plant on site.

Responsibilities

Day to day maintaining of plant
Fault Finding
On the job training
Plant and system upgrades / Project management
System maintenance
Audits (Safety and stock control)
PLC Knowledge/automation/ Scada systems

Qualifications

Grade 12 or equivalent
Relevant Trade qualification
Registered Artisan (Dept. of Labour) (Red Seal)

Experience

3-5 years' experience in a relevant trade
3 years' experience in Baking Environment

Competencies (knowledge, skills and attributes)

Ability to function in a team
Good communication skills
Ability to work under pressure

Equipment knowledge

Numerical ability

Other Requirements

Bakery environment – hot and noisy
Required to work outside of normal working hours (after hours and over time)
Working with and on heavy equipment and plant (mechanical and electrical)
Working Shift
