Job Title: Assessment and Intake Specialist - Healthcare and Social Services
Location: Remote, South Africa.
Salary Range: Up to USD 2,500 per month.
Work Schedule: Exact working hours confirmed during hiring.
Contractor Note: Independent contractor position.

About the Role:
Conduct careful intake and assessment calls, document needs and coordinate appropriate referrals and handoffs for people who may be vulnerable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed intake and assessment calls.
• Maintain accurate documentation and confidential records.
• Assess needs, coordinate referrals and communicate clear handoffs.
Qualifications:
• At least two years in intake coordination or closely related healthcare, social-services or patient/customer intake work.
• Clear, fluent spoken English for US customer assessment calls, with strong phone communication.
• Strong documentation, judgment, attention to detail and HIPAA-level confidentiality practices.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Behavioral-health, mental-health or substance-use intake experience.
