Job description
We're looking for a qualified accountant to join our team on a fully remote basis. You will be handling everything from day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, through to year-end accounts.
What you'll do
- Prepare monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
- Handle bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable
- Prepare and file VAT returns and other statutory submissions
- Support payroll processing
- Liaise directly with clients by phone, email and video call
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow analysis
- Keep records accurate and audit-ready
What we're looking for
- Qualified, or part-qualified with strong practical experience
- Practical experience or industry accounting role
- Confident with accounting softwares
- Excellent attention to detail and comfortable managing competing deadlines
- Clear communicator — remote work means writing well matters
- Self-motivated and able to work independently without close supervision
- Reliable broadband and a suitable home working space
Pay: R7 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
