Job description
Safhire is an outsourcing company that places skilled South African professionals into remote roles supporting US-based businesses. We're looking for an Assistant Bookkeeper/Data Entry specialist to support a client with day-to-day financial data entry in QuickBooks. If you're detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and have a financial background, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Enter financial data accurately into QuickBooks
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records
- Review entries for accuracy and flag discrepancies
- Support basic bookkeeping tasks as needed
- Communicate with the team regarding data entry status and questions
What We're Looking For:
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills
- Experience with QuickBooks required
- Background in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently
- Availability part-time with overlap into EST hours
