Job description

Main responsibilities:

Assist the Casino Manager with the day-to-day casino operation.
Supervise casino staff, including dealers, slot attendants, cashiers and gaming supervisors.
Monitor table games and slot operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Assist with staff scheduling, duty allocation and shift management.
Ensure gaming procedures and company policies are followed.
Monitor cash handling, payouts and financial controls.
Assist with opening and closing casino operations.
Handle guest questions, complaints and disputes professionally.
Monitor gaming equipment and report technical or operational issues.
Assist with investigating discrepancies or unusual transactions.
Support training, coaching and performance management of casino employees.
Monitor responsible-gaming and security procedures.
Prepare operational reports for the Casino Manager.
Work closely with Security, Finance and other shipboard departments.
Assist with casino events, promotions and guest engagement.
Participate in safety drills, meetings and mandatory training.

Typical requirements

3+ years of casino/gaming experience, depending on the cruise line.
Previous experience as a Casino Supervisor, Pit Supervisor, Slot Supervisor, Senior Dealer or similar.
Strong knowledge of casino operations and gaming procedures.
Experience supervising or leading casino employees.
Cash-handling and financial-control experience.
Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
Good knowledge of responsible gaming and compliance procedures.
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work long shifts and in a multicultural environment.
Good English.
Cruise experience is advantageous but not always mandatory.

Pay: R25 000,00 - R35 000,00 per month
