Job description
Assistant Electrical Installer Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa Assisted with the installation of electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects, ensuring work was completed safely and in accordance with electrical standards. Supported qualified electricians with cable installation, cable routing, equipment mounting, and electrical terminations. Assisted in reading electrical drawings, preparing materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. Performed basic electrical testing using multimeters and insulation resistance testers under supervision, identified and reported installation issues, and followed all health and safety procedures while working as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric). * N1–N3 Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent. * Basic knowledge of electrical installation practices and hand tools. * Ability to read and interpret basic electrical drawings. * Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces when required. * Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. * Willingness to learn and follow instructions from qualified electricians. * Strong commitment to health and safety procedures. * Valid Code B driver's licence. * Previous experience assisting with electrical installations.
Pay: R40,00 - R65,00 per hour
