Job description
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in the daily running of the store.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Assisting with staff management, training and supervision
- Ensuring excellent customer service
- Monitoring stock levels, receiving and stock control
- Assisting with sales, cash handling and store targets
- Maintaining high store standards, housekeeping and merchandising
- Assisting with administration, reports and daily operational duties
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
- Supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales and operational targets
- Being hands-on and able to work effectively in a busy retail environment
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Customer-focused and sales-driven
- Reliable, hardworking and professional
- Ability to work under pressure
- Relevant retail experience is essential
