Job description
The Assistant Site Manager at a fuel station is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the station, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a positive atmosphere.
- Staff Management: Training, and supervising staff, including attendants and cashiers.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Financial Operations: Managing daily financial operations, including cash handling and preparing dayend reports.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring adherence to regulations and conducting safety inspections.
- This role requires a strong organizational skill set, leadership potential, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. It is ideal for someone with previous experience in the retail fuel sector and a commitment to operational excellence
Pay: R12 000,00 - R17 000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Centurion, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- High School (matric) (Preferred)
Experience:
- forecourt: 1 year (Required)
Language:
- English, Afrikaans + African language (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- drivers license (Preferred)
