Assistant Manager

Ou Meul Pinelands is looking for an experienced and energetic Floor Manager to join our team.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume coffee shop and restaurant serving hundreds of guests daily. We are looking for a hands-on leader who thrives under pressure and can lead a team of approximately 40 staff members while delivering exceptional customer service.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Floor Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a busy café, coffee shop or restaurant.
• Proven experience managing teams of 30–40 employees.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with staff scheduling, stock control and daily restaurant operations.
• Must be reliable, well-presented and passionate about hospitality.
• Own transport and flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the front-of-house team.
• Ensure exceptional guest service at all times.
• Manage daily floor operations and service flow.
• Monitor staff performance and maintain company standards.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Work closely with the kitchen and management team to achieve sales and operational targets.
