• Grade 12 or NQF4
• Production Diploma
• Competent in English
• Valid driver's license
• Constantly adding value to the function of the job

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Operator with plant operation and monitoring.
• Take required hourly samples and ensure delivery to laboratory.
• Assist with quality control checks and documentation.
• Help clear blockages and assist during breakdowns.
• Assist with cleaning of machines, magnets, filters, strainers, separators, and sump pits.
• Assist with truck loading and sampling procedures.
• Take oil and gum dips at end of shift (Degumming).
• Seal tankers after loading and sampling (Degumming).
• Maintain housekeeping standards in assigned area.
• Assist other plants during breakdowns or high workload periods.
• Report defects and assist with repairs during stoppages.
