Requirements

• A B-Tech in Architecture or a relevant B Degree
• Working towards registration as a Professional Architectural

Technologist (Pr.Arch.T - category) i.e. candidate member

with the South African Council for the Architectural Profession

• Valid Code EB/ B/ 08 driving license
• Computer literacy: MS Office, AutoCad, Revit, Sketch-Up &

Adobe Suite

• Physically fit and able bodied.
• 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience required

Key Performance Areas

• Provide professional architectural assistance towards the

inception and concept design of small scale, less complex

development initiatives of line departments or private

landowners;

• Provide architectural support for the detail design

development, documentation and procurement of

development initiatives of line departments;

• Provide architectural support for the implementation of

development initiatives of line departments;

• Assist in undertaking specialist studies, assessment,

analysis and services not forming part of standard SACAP

services suit; and

• Assist in the process of assessing and monitoring compliance

of urban development proposals to urban design guidelines,

National Building Regulations, Planning By-law and other

relevant policies and regulations.
