Job description
Refueler/Dispatcher driver Assistant: Assist the refuelling or Dispatcher driver with transporting the bowsers, power generators, or industrial equipment while following strict safety rules.
Duties
- Transport and Delivery: Drive fuel bowsers.
- Fuelling Operations: Connect and disconnect delivery hoses, monitor fuel flow and pressure, and accurately fill tanks or generators.
- Assist the Refueler driver when entering the site by monitoring the vehicle.
- Quality and Safety Checks: Inspect fuel for water or contaminants, test ground equipment, and ensure compliance with hazardous materials.
- Pre- and Post-Trip Inspections: Check the truck's mechanical health, tires, brakes, fire extinguishers, and pump meters before and after every trip.
- Record Keeping: Maintain delivery logs, meter readings, stock balances, and transport documentation.
- Site Maintenance: Clean and maintain the bowser, tools, and associated power generation or storage assets.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
- Driver’s Licenses (South Africa context):
- Valid Code 10 C1 driver's license.
- Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
- Dangerous Goods Driving Permit.
Pay: R4 500,00 - R6 500,00 per month
