Assistant Route Technician

We offer a choice of services from over 60 of the country’s leading Internet Service Providers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepping and cleaning the site.
• Install the network infrastructure and equipment as per site plan.
• Responsible for the electrical and hand tool inventory to be used.
• Delivering and distributing supplies (expect some heavy lifting).
• Assisting workers with Equipment.
• Assembling and disassembling equipment.
• Learning new skills from experienced Technicians.
• Monitor and maintain stock.
• And any other reasonable task.

Requirements:

• Matric Certificate or equivalent
• Valid code 8 driver's license
• Tertiary level IT or Telecommunications qualification (advantage)
• 1 years' experience performing fibre splicing and/or installations.
• A CFOT certificate is advantageous
• Experience using power-tools.
