*WE ARE HIRING*
Assistant to Depot Manager- Logistics & Operations
Bellville Depot: Cape Town
Employment Type: Full -Time
*Role Purpose*
To support the Depot Manager in the day -to- day control, coordination, and performance of depot operations, including drivers, planning execution, compliance, inventory control, and service delivery.
*Key Responsibilities*
- Operational support, assisting the Depot Manager in overseeing, drivers, fleet
activities, daily depot operations.
- Planning and execution support, support coordination between planners, drivers, yard operations.
- Inventory control and stock management, maintain accurate control of storage
vehicles and yard inventory
- Performance monitoring, monitor driver productivity, delivery performance
operational efficiency
- Compliance, process control, problem solving and escalation
- Administrative support and team coordination
*Minimum Requirements*
- 1-3 years’ experience in Logistics, transport or operations
- Experience in logistics or fleet operations
- Experience with stock control or inventory systems
- Willing to learn and grow
