Are you looking to start or grow your career in wealth management?
GCI Wealth is looking for an organised and reliable Assistant Wealth Administrator to support our wealth administration team. This is an entry-level position offering practical exposure to wealth administration, client reviews, credit control, compliance and client service.
What you will do
- Gather client information and prepare client review packs.
- Update client records on XPlan and other CRM systems.
- Monitor missed premiums and outstanding payments.
- Follow up with providers and update credit control records.
- Prepare documents and respond to basic client and provider queries.
- Record client communications and complete basic compliance checks.
- Assist with administrative overflow and provide cover when team members are on leave.
- Navigate provider websites and liaise with provider call centres.
- Take part in training and shadowing across wealth administration, paraplanning and executive support.
Minimum requirements
- Matric or Grade 12.
- One of the following:
- An NQF Level 4 qualification in Administration or Financial Services; or
- At least one year of working experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisational and time-management skills.
- Able to manage different tasks and meet deadlines.
- Willing to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Advantageous
- Previous exposure to financial services or administration.
- Familiarity with XPlan or another CRM system.
- Basic knowledge of FAIS, FICA, POPIA and TCF.
- Basic understanding of investments and long-term insurance.
- Exposure to client reviews or credit control.
This position is suited to someone who wants to build a career in financial services, takes ownership of their work and is willing to learn different support functions within a wealth management environment.
Pay: R15 000,00 - R16 000,00 per month
