Assistant workshop Manager

Full Job Description

A Franchised auto service and repair workshop in Durban is looking for a dynamic, hard-working Workshop Assistant.

Responsibilities include but not limited are:

• Administrative duties of the workshop
• Booking in of clients, and quoting
• Ordering of parts
• Updating clients of progress
• Liaising with technicians on job requirements
• Filing and invoice processing, and ensuring accounts are up to date
• Driving to suppliers for collections of parts/goods
• Collection/drop-off of clients when required
• Supporting the workshop manager

Work experience include but not limited are:

• 3 years experience in the automotive sector (preference to franchised independent workshops)
• Experience in customer service and upselling
• Basic mechanical understanding of vehicles will be advantageous
• Capable with Microsoft Office software (excel, word, outlook)
• Added experience in Pastel

Education and other requirements:

• Matric
• Drivers license
• Preference to candidates who live in close proximity to Durban CBD

Pay: R96 000,00 - R120 000,00 per year
