This position reports to:

Service Operations Manager __

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects while working closely with senior project managers, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification Service in our offices in Cape Town.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Administration

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budget management
• Track project progress and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery
• Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Prepare project reports, status updates, and presentations
• Identify and escalate project risks and issues to senior management
• Support stakeholder communication and meeting coordination
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices implementation

Qualifications for the role

• National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business, Engineering, or related field or similar
• 1-3 years of project management or project coordination experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• PMP or CAPM certification advantageous
• Experience with MS Project
• Knowledge of Agile or Waterfall methodologies advantageous
• Experience in engineering, construction, or manufacturing sectors
